  • Any high school senior with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher  
     

  • Students who can demonstrate volunteer/community service or part time work prior to high school graduation
     

  • Students who can demonstrate financial need
     

  • Priority will be given to first generation college students.

Weiner Nusim Academic College Scholarships

 

Deadline for scholarship application was midnight June 15, 2020 Eastern Standard Time. Refer to the application process below for all details on future applications.

Criteria

​

  • Scholarships will be awarded to student(s) selected by the WN Scholarship Committee

  • Applicant must be a member of the high school graduating class of 2020 in an accredited high school who is attending a four-year college

  • Applicant must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher at time of application

  • Awards will be made in amounts of up to $2,500 for freshman year and may be renewable each year based on student’s continued academic achievement

  • Students will be required to resubmit an application each year for continued support, which is not automatic

  • Students must include a letter of recommendation from a choice of high school teacher/administrator/employer or individual with a significant knowledge of applicant’s experience and involvement

  • Personal essay (see details below)

Award Information

​

Scholarships will be paid directly to the college or university during the month of August upon receiving proof of student enrollment for the fall semester and not to the student.
